Capital One Financial Corporation is a diversified financial services holding company and the largest issuer of credit cards in the U.S. by outstanding loan balance. The company offers credit cards, debit cards, auto loans, personal loans, bank lending, treasury management, and depository services to consumers, small businesses, and commercial clients. Following its May 2025 acquisition of Discover Financial Services, Capital One operates three reportable business segments—Credit Card, Consumer Banking, and Commercial Banking—and provides payment network services including the Discover Network, PULSE Network, and Diners Club International.
