Equity Residential is a REIT that acquires, develops and manages multifamily rental properties focused on dynamic cities that attract affluent long-term renters. It offers apartment leasing, property management, development, redevelopment, densification, renovations, joint-venture investments and resident services supported by property technology. The Company operates through an operating partnership that holds and manages its property and joint venture interests. Equity Residential concentrates its portfolio in established and expansion U.S. markets such as Boston, New York, Washington, California, Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Austin, using regional management offices and digital channels.
