Business
Hecla Mining Company discovers, acquires, develops and operates mining properties and produces and markets precious and base metals. It produces silver, gold, lead, zinc and copper products in the form of flotation concentrates, gravity concentrates, carbon material and unrefined doré, and sells these products to custom smelters, metal traders, third‑party processors and refiners. The company is organized into four operating segments: Greens Creek, Lucky Friday, Keno Hill and Casa Berardi. Hecla primarily operates in North America (Alaska, Idaho, Yukon Territory, Quebec and other U.S. districts) and distributes products through smelters, traders and refiners.
