National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC) is a member-owned, nonprofit finance cooperative that provides supplemental lending and credit enhancement to rural electric utility cooperatives. CFC offers long-term secured and unsecured loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, and guarantees of debt obligations to support electric distribution, generation and transmission systems. Through its wholly owned subsidiary NCSC, CFC also finances rural telecommunications companies and participates in renewable energy and broadband infrastructure projects. CFC serves approximately 1,176 members and 540 associates primarily across the United States.
