SAN JUAN BASIN ROYALTY TRUST

SAN JUAN BASIN ROYALTY TRUST is an express trust that owns and administers a 75% net overriding royalty interest in certain oil and natural gas interests in the San Juan Basin. It derives income by receiving royalty payments based on net proceeds from production and sale of hydrocarbons attributable to the Subject Interests. The Trust’s activities are limited to collection, administration and distribution functions performed by a Trustee and the holding of the Royalty as its principal asset; it does not operate the properties. Royalty production is located in the San Juan Basin of northwestern New Mexico and is marketed and produced by operators (primarily Hilcorp), with monthly distributions made to Unit Holders.
