Southland Holdings, Inc. provides specialty infrastructure construction services across a broad range of end markets. It designs and constructs projects in bridges, tunnels, communications, transportation and facilities, marine works, steel structures, water and wastewater treatment plants, and water pipelines, and historically provided materials and paving services while recently discontinuing large-scale concrete and asphalt production. The company operates through two reportable segments, Civil and Transportation, and includes subsidiaries such as Johnson Bros., American Bridge, Oscar Renda, Southland Contracting, Mole Constructors, and Heritage Materials. It serves public and private customers primarily in the United States, with projects across North America and selected international engagements through competitive bidding and prime contracting.
