UMB FINANCIAL CORP is a financial holding company that provides banking services and asset-servicing to corporate, institutional and retail customers. It offers a full complement of banking products and services, including commercial and consumer lending, deposit and payment services, asset-management, trust, bankcard and cash-management services, as well as fund accounting, transfer agency and related services for mutual fund and alternative-investment groups. The company operates through three business segments: Commercial Banking, Institutional Banking and Personal Banking, and owns a national bank and nonbank subsidiaries. It serves commercial, retail, government and correspondent-bank clients primarily across the Midwestern and Southwestern United States and provides asset-servicing to clients globally.
