WINTRUST FINANCIAL CORP provides diversified financial services as a bank holding company operating through multiple nationally chartered banks and specialized subsidiaries. It offers community-oriented personal and commercial banking, retail mortgage origination, premium finance for property, casualty and life insurance, equipment leasing, accounts receivable financing, and a full range of wealth management and brokerage services. The company’s primary business segments are community banking, specialty finance and wealth management, each run as separate strategic units. It serves customers principally in the Chicago metropolitan area, southern Wisconsin, northwest Indiana and west Michigan, while specialty finance and mortgage operations extend nationwide and into Canada through distribution via branch networks, downtown commercial offices, insurance agents/brokers, mortgage retail offices and intermediary platforms.
