InMed Pharmaceuticals Inc. Segments Disclosure
| 11. | SEGMENT INFORMATION |
The Company reports segment information based on the management approach, which designates the internal reporting used by the Chief Operating Decision Maker (“CODM”), the Company’s and the senior management team, for making decisions and assessing performance as the source of the Company’s reportable segments. The CODM allocates resources and assesses the performance of each operating segment based on potential licensing opportunities, historical and potential future product sales, operating expenses, and operating income (loss) before interest and taxes. The Company has determined its reportable segments to be ‘InMed Pharma’ and ‘BayMedica Commercial’ based on the information used by the CODM. Other than cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments (“Unrestricted cash”) balances, the CODM does not regularly review asset information by reportable segment and, therefore, the Company does not report asset information by reportable segment.
The InMed Pharma segment is largely organized around the research and development of small molecule pharmaceuticals drug candidates and the BayMedica Commercial segment is largely organized around manufacturing technologies to produce and commercialize bulk rare cannabinoids for sale as ingredients in the health and wellness industry. Total assets held in the ‘InMed Pharma’ segment as of June 30, 2025 and 2024 were $13.7 million and $9.2 million, respectively. Total assets as of June 30, 2025 and 2024, held in the BayMedica Commercial segment were $1.9 million and $2.6 million, respectively.

About Segments Disclosures
Segment disclosures break a company into its reportable operating units, revealing revenue, profit, and asset allocation that consolidated financial statements obscure. Under ASC 280, segments must match how the chief operating decision maker views the business, providing a window into internal management structure and resource allocation priorities.
Key signals: compare segment margins to identify which units drive profitability and which destroy value. Watch for changes in the number of reportable segments — segment aggregation or disaggregation often coincides with strategic shifts or attempts to obscure declining performance. Intersegment elimination patterns reveal internal pricing practices. The reconciliation between segment totals and consolidated figures exposes corporate overhead allocation and unallocated items. Geographic revenue concentration highlights regulatory and currency exposure. Compare segment-level capital expenditure against segment revenue to assess where management is investing for future growth versus harvesting existing assets.
